Customs June 5, 2024 Circulars
The Public Notice No. 23/2024 issued by the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), Chennai Customs Zone, pertains to the renewal of custodianship u/s 45 of the Customs Act, 1962 for M/s Adani Ennore Container Terminal Pvt Ltd at Kamarajar Port, Ennore. The renewal, u/r 13 of Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009, was granted for 5 years until 29.05.2029, based on the application dated 28.03.2024. Compliance with the regulations and payment of cost recovery charges, if applicable, are conditions for the extended custodianship.
