      The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Office of the Commissioner of Customs issued a Public Notice regarding the receipt of e-BRC for exports made from 01.04.2014 to 30.06.2023, as per RBI BRC Module. Exporters, Customs Brokers, and Trade Members were reminded to use the online RBI BRC Module for monitoring export proceeds realization. IEC holders were advised to update e-BRCs in ICES through Authorized Dealer Banks. If not updated, IEC holders could submit realization certificates or statements to the Assistant Commissioner, BRC Section. Failure to update may result in Customs action u/s Customs Act. IEC holders with BRC alerts were instructed to approach the BRC Section for resolution. Customs retains the right to conduct checks and take action for non-compliance. Any difficulties faced by IEC holders should be reported to the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, BRC Cell. Contact details for assistance were provided in the notice.
