Issuance of SHIS scrip

Dear Expert,

The office of the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade has been granted us Star Export house status on 16.07.2012, I have some doubt in below matter.

• Can we avail SHIS scrip for the year 2009-10 / 2010-11 with value cut (as per para 3.10.3 of  HBPv1 last date of application is 31.03.2011 / 31.03.2012) ?
• Application has to be filed port-wise ?

According to para 3.16.1 b of the FTP 2009-2014, Status Holders of sector specified in para 3.16.4, shall be entitled to a Duty credit scrip @1% of FOB Value of exports made during 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13.

Thanks for your suggestion.

I got your point sir but Para 3.10.3 FTPv1 the last date of filing SHIS application shall be 31st March 2011/2012/2013/2014 for exports made during 2009-10/2010-11/2011-12 and 2012-13 respectively.

In this context can we apply SHIS scrip for the year 2009-10/2010-11 with late cut provision stated in para 9.3 FTP v1

Also confirm us that we shall filed SHIS scrip applicaiton port-wirse or jointly (EDI and Non-EDI).

Kindly check para 3.11.3 and 3.11.4 of the HBP Vol-1 in this regard.

Furhter, provision as mentioned in 9.3 HBP Vol-1 may be opted out.

U will be eligible for Status holders incentive script, if u were a status holder during that particular period 2009-10, 2010-11.  As u got the staus on 16.07.2012, which may be valid for the period 01.04.2012 to next five years and hence will be eligible only for 2012-13 SHIS script
