Manufacturer Faces Issues with Electronic Filing of ER-1 Form; Timely Manual Submission Suggested if Technical Errors Occur. A manufacturer faced issues filing the ER-1 form electronically due to technical errors on the ACES site and was advised by customer service to submit a hard copy to the Range Superintendent, who refused it. Respondents suggested using the online facility for immediate acknowledgment and checking the status if using offline methods. They emphasized that the Range Office cannot refuse a hard copy if submitted within the deadline, though they may reject late submissions. Filing electronically is mandatory, and failure to do so may lead to a show cause notice, but timely manual submission with a valid reason should be accepted. (AI Summary)
