Individual Faces Pressure Over EA-2000 Audit Documents; Advised to Request Extension Due to Representative's Absence An individual sought advice on handling pressure from a Central Excise officer to submit EA-2000 audit documents. The individual explained that the documents could not be submitted on time due to the absence of an excise representative at their Chennai site. A respondent suggested submitting a request letter to the Audit Party to extend the audit schedule, citing the reasons for postponement. If the officer remains uncooperative, the individual was advised to approach the Audit Assistant Commissioner. Filing a request for an extension was deemed the most viable option. (AI Summary)
