Merchant Exporter Seeks Clarification on Export Proof Without Bank Realization Certificate; Annexure 19 as Alternative Proof A merchant exporter in Delhi faced issues with issuing proof of export without a Bank Realization Certificate (BRC) against CT-1. They sought clarification on whether proof of export could be issued without the BRC. A respondent advised submitting documents like the Bill of Lading, Mate receipt, or Airway Bill, along with Annexure 19 to the Jurisdictional Excise Division. The acceptance of Annexure 19 serves as proof of export. It was noted that providing the BRC within 180 days might be challenging due to payment terms under a Letter of Credit, and a request should be made to accept the current documents. (AI Summary)
