Purchase of Battery from Supplier & Buyback of existing battery

JOHN SHANNEL

Hello experts,

We are buying battery from supplier at 15k per battery. The supplier also agreed to buy back the existing batter at 5k per battery.

How Invoice to be raised?

a. Should he raise invoice of 15k for new battery and i should raise sale of old battery @ 5k OR

b. Supplier can raise Invoice at 10k per battery?

Please clarify.

Issue Separate Invoices: 15k for New Batteries and 5k for Old Battery Buyback as Independent Transactions A user inquired about the correct invoicing method for purchasing new batteries at 15k each from a supplier who also agreed to buy back old batteries at 5k each. The question was whether to issue separate invoices for each transaction or to net the amounts. Three respondents confirmed that the correct approach is to treat them as independent transactions, issuing a 15k invoice for the new batteries and a separate 5k sale invoice for the old batteries. The user expressed gratitude for the clarification. (AI Summary)
