E INVOICE for units more than RS 500/- CRORES

CABIJENDERKUMAR BANSAL

Dear Sir

The E-invoices are mandatory for the units having turn over ₹ 500/- under same PAN .My question is whether e invoices are required for these units conducting services also such as job work (as these are also B TO B category ) or not .The GST portal IRN does not support this and I have not found any specific exemption for this .Kindly guide.

Thanks

E-Invoices Mandatory for B2B Services with Turnover Over 500 Crore; Consider Filing Complaint for Clarification. A forum participant inquired whether e-invoices are mandatory for units with a turnover exceeding 500 crore, specifically for those providing services like job work, which fall under the B2B category. They noted that the GST portal's Invoice Reference Number (IRN) system does not support this and found no specific exemptions. The respondent confirmed that e-invoices are applicable in such cases and suggested filing an online complaint for further clarification. (AI Summary)
