Tran-1 revision

manish raghuwanshi

Sir,

I have filed tran-1 in December,2018 but we have claimed short credit of excise available as per Er-1. Now how can claim balance credit. Can Gst council would allow revision in tran-1 in fuuret or can we ask refund to excise department.

Please suggest.

User Seeks Additional GST Excise Credit Post-Tran-1 Filing; Revisions Unlikely, Court Action Possible for System Failures A user inquired about claiming additional excise credit after filing Tran-1 under GST in December 2018, seeking advice on whether the GST Council would allow revisions or if a refund could be obtained from the excise department. A respondent explained that audits for Tran-1 have been completed based on invoice details, and reopening Tran-1 is unlikely due to tax allocations already made. They suggested that approaching the court might be an option if there are strong grounds like system failures. Another respondent noted that obtaining a refund could be challenging. (AI Summary)
