Customs duty payment must be made via the ACES portal when duty arises on excess imports under invalidation.
Duty liabilities for excess imports arising from invalidation must be paid through the Automated Customs Electronic System (ACES) portal. The discussion notes a CHA view that customs cannot accept duty where import was not processed through customs, but respondents advise using ACES as the formal electronic channel to discharge such customs duties. (AI Summary)

Dear All,

I made and import using Invalidation, now at the time of EO, DGFT given letter to pay custom duty for excess import.

I discuss with my CHA and he replied that Import not made thru customs so Custom cannot accept duty, you may reach to your Excise Department.

Kindly guide me, how and where i can pay Duty.
