Mixed supply of services

yugesh nama

Hello sir

what if a person not charge higher amount of tax rate in mixed supply of goods and services? or the person sells the whole package of different goods and services in sach a way that lower rate of gst has higher value of goods and higer rate of gst has lower amount of goods.

Clarification on GST: Mixed Supplies Taxed at Highest Rate Under Section 8(b) of CGST Act 2017 A discussion on the Goods and Services Tax (GST) addressed a query about the tax implications of mixed supplies of goods and services. According to Section 8(b) of the CGST Act, 2017, a mixed supply is taxed at the highest applicable rate. Attempting to manipulate the tax rate by altering the value of goods to benefit from lower GST rates is considered tax evasion and could result in penalties. Participants advised against such practices, emphasizing the importance of paying appropriate taxes to avoid legal issues and attract unwanted attention from tax authorities. (AI Summary)
