DUE DATE TO PAY TAX PAYABLE BY COMPOSITE PERSON IS 18/10/2017 BUT FORM GSTR 4 IS NOT IN WORKING CONDITION AND CHALLAN IS ALSO NOT UP DATED TILL DATE. WHAT IS THE REMEDY.

GST payment deadline for composition dealers extended; remit tax after system update and file using revised return window. A composition dealer unable to access Form GSTR 4 or an updated challan should contact the helpdesk and rely on officially announced extensions permitting filing and payment within the revised window once online services are restored. Date has been extended. It is either 15.11.17 or 10.11.17. When last date is extended, payment can be made accordingly i.e. at least three days in advance.

The due date for filing of return by composition dealer for the month of July, Aug and Sept is extended upto 15th Nov 2017.
