GST Payment made is not reflecting in GST portal

GST payment processing delays can prevent portal crediting and filing; retain challan and contact helpdesk.
GST e-payment may be debited from the bank yet remain shown as "INITIATED" on the portal, preventing set-off of liabilities and return filing. Taxpayers should retain the payment challan and confirmation as proof, allow time for portal reconciliation, and contact the helpdesk with payment details if the status does not update within a reasonable interval. (AI Summary)

GST payment done yesterday thru e-payment mode is not reflecting in GST portal. The amount is already debited in bank account and payment challan confirmation is received with payment status as "Success".

Deposit Status as per GST TOOL is "INITIATED" and unable to proceed to set off the liabilities and file the return.

IS there any issue in GST portal?.

Nothing to worry. Sometimes it takes time to accept challan and credit the same in Govt. Account. Your money will not be lost. It also happened with me amount was credited to Govt. After some days.

It takes long time if we call the helpdesk. Sometime 15 minutes to 20 minutes also. The reply from the helpdesk takes considerable time. Even if the call is connected the answer received is not satisfactory in come case. Lot of patience is required.
