Chemical Manufacturer Seeks Guidance on Exporting Capital Goods After EOU De-bonding; EPCG License Required for Some Machines A manufacturing company involved in chemicals seeks advice on exporting capital goods after de-bonding from an Export Oriented Unit (EOU) without paying duties, as they have completed 10 years. They inquire about the need for an Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) license. It is clarified that they do not have an EPCG license for their plant and machinery. They have 10 machines, 5 of which are over 15 years old and duty-free, while the remaining 5 require an EPCG license for export. They seek guidance on proceeding with exports. (AI Summary)
