Return For central excise

How to prepare the Central excise return and how to submit the central excise return

Online submission of central excise returns required through ACES portal; use templates and authorised preparers for assistance. Central excise returns must be submitted online through the ACES portal using the prescribed template and guidance on that governmental website; a downloadable utility and on screen instructions are provided for practice. Filers should follow template stepwise guidance, obtain supervision for first time filings or technical problems, and may engage return preparers while confirming their scope, fees and authorisation. Dear Sandeep,

Central Excise Return are required to be submitted on line through www.aces.gov.in and the help/support is also mentioned on this Governmental Portal. Further, for practice you may also download the utility and improve your skills/understanding by hit and trail.

Regards,

Yes the ACES has template and the template has got the guidelines as to how the return should be filled up. Actually we may step wise put forth the way the return should be filled up. But more you will be benefited if you try on your own by try and error.

It is very simple. Go step by step as guided by both experts. This forum is not meant for teaching ABC of ACES system. You are welcome to seek guidance in this aspect, if you face any technical problem specifically. For filing return ACES for the first time, do so under supervision of someone who can operate system efficiently. There is always a world of difference between theory and practice.Thereafter, you need practice again and again to be quick and fool proof as already communicated by Sh.Ganeshan Kalyani Ji.
