C, E1 & E2 Transaction

Pranali Majalkar

We have purchase material from A in Maharashtra & directly shift to C in Gujarat. Material not received in our office Maharashtra.

Please advised how to issue C form to A in Maharashtra.

Clarification Sought on Applicability of C, E1, and EII Forms for Transactions Between Maharashtra and Gujarat A query was raised regarding a transaction involving the purchase of materials in Maharashtra and their direct shipment to Gujarat. The issue concerned the issuance of C forms and the applicability of E1 and EII forms. One respondent suggested issuing an E1 form to the seller in Maharashtra and collecting a C form from the buyer in Gujarat. Another response highlighted that the transaction does not qualify as an interstate sale, thus making C form, E1, and EII forms inapplicable. It was emphasized that these forms are relevant only for interstate sales, not for transactions within Maharashtra. (AI Summary)
