Dear All,

PF limit has been increased to ₹ 15000/-. I Heard this is applicable from wage month of Sep-14. Hope this is right?

Previosuly we have not covered some persons whose salary is ₹ 10000/- now i have to cover these persons also is it?

Now PF minium contributution is ₹ 780/- from employee linked to attendance that is for salary ₹ 6500/ [12%] . Whether this min. amount also increased ? If increased how much?

Now the max amount of Pension scheme is ₹ 541/-. Whether This amount also increased if yes how much?

Provident Fund Update: Salary Cap Raised to 15,000; Pension Contribution Now 1,250; 8.33% for Under 15,000 Earners. A forum participant inquired about recent changes to the Provident Fund (PF) regulations in India, specifically the increase in the salary cap to 15,000, effective from September 2014. They questioned whether employees earning 10,000, previously uncovered, now need to be included and if the minimum PF contribution of 780 had increased. A respondent clarified that the maximum pension contribution is now 1,250, replacing the previous 541, and that employees earning less than 15,000 will have a pension contribution rate of 8.33%.
