Self Sealing

narendra arora

Respected Sir,

We have filed an intimation on 10.09.13 for export consignment under self sealing and tentative date of stuffing is 12.09.13 and tentative date of clearance is 12.09.2013. We have planed for 3 containers

we have stuffed a containers and send to ICD after that we stuff 2 more container and found that some of parts of a machine can't stuffed and we need 1 more container and another container will be available after 5-6 days.

Please advice :

When we prepare ARE

Is there any need to revise intimation

What about first container which we have already sent to ICD.

With regards

Naren

Exporting Under Self-Sealing: No Need to Revise Intimation; Submit ARE-1 Copies Within 24 Hours of Clearance A user inquired about the procedure for exporting consignments under self-sealing, specifically regarding the preparation of ARE documents and whether they need to revise their intimation due to requiring an additional container. They had already sent one container to the Inland Container Depot (ICD) and faced delays in obtaining another container. The response advised that no further intimation is needed under self-sealing. Instead, they should submit the third and fourth copies of ARE-1 to the department within 24 hours of goods clearance from the registered premises and referred to the export procedure in the central excise law manual for more details.
