of <h1>Mumbai Customs Launches Online Portal to Simplify Licensing for Brokers and Stakeholders; Profiles Due by October 3, 2022.</h1> The Customs Brokers Licensing Management System (CBLMS) has been introduced as an online portal to streamline the licensing processes for Customs Brokers, Importers, Exporters, and other stakeholders. Developed by Mumbai Customs Zone-I, CBLMS aims to digitize business processes, reduce physical interactions, standardize procedures, and enhance accountability. Initially, the CB profile module will integrate existing Customs Brokers' data. Brokers licensed by the Commissioner of Customs, Mangaluru, must create profiles on the portal by October 3, 2022. A user manual and helpdesk support are available to assist with the transition to the online system.
