of <h1>PGA e-SANCHIT System Enhances Paperless Trade with 47 Agencies; Importers Must Update Email in ICEGATE by Jan 31, 2020.</h1> The circular announces the implementation of the PGA e-SANCHIT system, aimed at paperless processing under the SWIFT framework for uploading Licenses, Permits, Certificates, and Other Authorizations (LPCOs) by Participating Government Agencies (PGAs). Operational since April 2018, the system reduces physical interactions and speeds up import and export clearances. As of January 31, 2020, four additional PGAs are included, bringing the total to 47. Importers, exporters, and customs brokers must register correct email addresses in ICEGATE for communication purposes. The ability for beneficiaries to upload LPCOs will be deactivated from January 31, 2020.
