Exporters must provide DFIA details in the revised format, and importers must quote authorization numbers when filing entries. The system facilitates online communication and monitoring of export obligations, with Customs transmitting shipping bills to DGFT and receiving necessary amendments and certifications electronically. Existing manual procedures remain for authorizations issued before this date.
