of <h1>Ahmedabad Customs Updates CHA License Renewal Norms: New Minimum Document, Package, Cargo, and Value Requirements Announced.</h1> The Commissioner of Customs in Ahmedabad has issued new norms for the renewal of Custom House Agents (CHA) licenses under the Customs House Agents Licensing Regulations, 2004. The updated requirements specify that CHAs must handle a minimum of 150 documents annually or clear/ship 1500 packages or 2000 tons of liquid bulk cargo per year. Additionally, the value of the shipments must reach at least Rs. 5 Crores annually, or the duty paid must be no less than Rs. 1 Crore annually. This notice supersedes the previous guidelines set in 1999.
