of <h1>Customs Office amends Public Notice No. 05/2016: Accepts certificates from any scheduled commercial bank for Shipping Agent registration.</h1> The Customs Office issued an amendment to Public Notice No. 05/2016 to address difficulties faced by trade representatives in producing fixed deposit and solvency certificates from a nationalized bank for the registration and renewal of Shipping and Steamer Agents. The amendment allows these documents to be obtained from any scheduled commercial bank instead. Stakeholders are encouraged to report any further difficulties to the office.
