Exporters Must Apply 24 Hours in Advance for Supervision of Containerized Cargo Stuffing and Sealing; Follow FIFO Process.
The circular outlines the procedure for the supervision of stuffing and sealing of containerized cargo for exporters. Exporters must apply to the jurisdictional Range Superintendent 24 hours in advance for supervision, with applications processed on a First-in First-out basis. If the range office is unable to meet requests due to workload, exporters will be informed and may need to reschedule. The Deputy/Assistant Commissioner will arrange for officers to supervise stuffing if necessary. Exporters are responsible for paying MOT fees, which can be prepaid in a lump sum. Compliance with existing Board instructions and circulars is mandatory.
