<h1>India Raises FII Corporate Debt Limit to $15 Billion, Launches Open Bidding for $8 Billion Allocation.</h1> The Government of India has revised the External Commercial Borrowing policy, increasing the cumulative debt investment limit for Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) in corporate debt from USD 6 billion to USD 15 billion. USD 8 billion will be allocated through an open bidding platform provided by stock exchanges. Bidding sessions will last two hours, with a minimum bid amount of Rs. 250 crore and a tick size of Rs. 100 crore. Successful bids will be based on price and time priority, with a cap of Rs. 10,000 crore per entity. The limits must be utilized within 45 days, with smaller allocations handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
