A contract has been signed with a software vendor to manage the DMS, which aims to enhance the barcoding, storage, and retrieval of import and export documents. A tripartite agreement involves the vendor, the Commissioner of Customs, and a service management company responsible for collecting service charges. The service management company will issue coupons for these charges. Cooperation from trade entities is requested for smooth implementation, with the possibility of expanding the model to other ports if successful.
