of <h1>Unresolved Drawback Claims Since 1998: Exporters Must Respond by Dec 15, 2012, or Face Zero Drawback Processing.</h1> Special measures are being implemented to address pending drawback claims due to unanswered queries. Many claims remain unresolved since the EDI System's introduction in 1998, as queries are not directly communicated to exporters. Exporters are urged to utilize the Drawback Help Desk and email response systems to check the status of their claims. Exporters must submit responses to outstanding queries by December 15, 2012, for shipping bills pending as of June 30, 2012. Claims without required documents will be processed at zero drawback, but exporters can file supplementary claims later. All related notices are updated accordingly.
