Air India Air Transport Services Limited (AIATSL), a subsidiary of M/s. Air India Limited, has been appointed as a Customs Cargo Service Provider at the Air Cargo Complex in Mumbai. This appointment, effective from April 16, 2015, is valid for two years. AIATSL is responsible for the safe custody of import/export goods until clearance under the Customs Act, 1962. The appointment includes conditions such as compliance with regulations, insurance coverage, and infrastructure provision. AIATSL must not transfer premises or subcontract without permission and must maintain records of cargo activities.
