of <h1>New Procedure for Export General Manifest Errors: Approach Export Shed for LEO, EGM Coordination for 'P' or 'H' Issues.</h1> The procedure for addressing Export General Manifest (EGM) errors has been updated. As per the Customs Act, 1962, the person in charge of export conveyance must submit the export manifest before departure. Errors often arise due to incorrect data entry in the EDI system, particularly the Airway Bill Number, or system issues causing LEO errors. To resolve LEO errors, representatives must approach the Batch Officer in the Export Shed with a request letter for error removal. Other EGM errors, like 'P' or 'H', will be handled by the EGM coordination section as before. Any difficulties should be reported to the customs office.
