Previously classified under tariff line 8525 50 50, this line has been omitted in the Finance Bill, 2016. Consequently, these items are now classified under tariff item 8518 10 00, which covers all types of microphones. The circular instructs relevant customs authorities to finalize any pending assessments based on this new classification and to report any difficulties to the Board.
