of <h1>CBDT Updates Zonal Responsibilities for Members, Effective August 2014: Key Changes in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata & More.</h1> The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has issued an order effective from August 5, 2014, detailing the distribution of zones and work arrangements for its members. The order supersedes previous instructions and assigns specific zonal responsibilities. The Chairman is assigned the investigation charge for Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur. Another member is responsible for Delhi, NWR, UP (East and West), Kochi, Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad. A third member oversees Kolkata, Orissa, NER, Patna, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and M.P. This order is communicated to relevant officials and departments for implementation.
