of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Update: New Silk Products Added to Focus List in Appendix 37D for Export Benefits.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I (RE2008) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, adding new focus products in Appendix 37D. Effective from April 1, 2008, these products include various silk items such as silk-worm cocoons suitable for reeling, raw silk, silk waste, and different types of silk yarns and woven fabrics. These additions are detailed in Table 11, appended after Table 10, and aim to grant benefits for exports of these products. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
