<h1>India Releases 50,000 MT of Coarse Grains for Export in 2001-2002 Under Export & Import Policy 1997-2002.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has announced the release of 50,000 metric tons of coarse grains for export during the 2001-2002 period. This allocation includes grains and flour of barley, maize, bajra, ragi, and jowar, excluding hybrid jowar as a Kharif crop. The distribution is set as follows: 10,000 MTs each to two specified agencies, and 30,000 MTs to the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) for private exporters. This decision, made under the Export & Import Policy 1997-2002, is intended to facilitate export activities.
