of <h1>Telegraphic Release Advice Facility Implemented for Imports/Exports under DFCEC and EPCG Scheme; Ensures Proper Monitoring and Prevention of Misuse.</h1> The circular addresses the implementation of the Telegraphic Release Advice (TRA) facility for imports/exports under the Duty Free Credit Entitlement Certificate (DFCEC) for Status Holders and Service Providers, and the Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Scheme. It allows imports against TRA from any notified locations as per Customs Notifications Nos. 53/03, 54/03, and 55/03. The Custom House at the port of registration will issue the TRA, verifying the certificate's authenticity and advising the Custom House at the port of import on validity and eligibility. Proper accounting and monitoring of imports under the TRA facility are emphasized to prevent misuse.
