Assistance to Enforcement Directorate: Income tax Officers and Inspectors must render assistance on requisition under section 77. Income tax Officers and Inspectors are designated to assist officers of the Enforcement Directorate in enforcement of the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act; they must render necessary assistance upon requisition and the obligation should be communicated to all Income tax Officers and Inspectors in each charge.
