Quorum for meetings of the Central Advisory Board is satisfied only when at least one-third of the members are present, together with at least one representative member from both the employers' side and the employees' side. No business may be transacted unless this threshold is met. If fewer than one-third of the members attend, the Chairperson may adjourn the meeting to a date not later than seven days from the original meeting, and the business may then be disposed of at the adjourned meeting regardless of the number of members present.
