Prohibition on use of protected emblems: prior Central Government permission required before commercial or proprietary use.
No person may, for the purpose of any trade, business, calling or profession, or in the title of any patent, or in any trade mark or design, use or continue to use any name or emblem specified in the Schedule or any colourable imitation thereof without the previous permission of the Central Government or an authorised officer, except in cases and under conditions prescribed by the Central Government; the prohibition operates notwithstanding any other law.
