<h1>India-Japan Trade: Preferential Tariffs for Goods Meeting Rule 4, 5, or 6 Under CEPA, Consigned Directly per Rule 10.</h1> Goods imported under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between India and Japan are considered originating and eligible for preferential tariff treatment if they are consigned directly as per rule 10. This applies if the goods are wholly obtained or produced entirely in the importing Party, as outlined in rule 4. Alternatively, if not wholly obtained or produced, the goods must meet the requirements specified in rule 5 or rule 6 to qualify for preferential treatment.
