Surrender of courier registration requires written application, clearance of government dues, and absence of pending proceedings.

An Authorised Courier may apply in writing to surrender its registration before the Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs who granted it. Revocation of registration may be made only if all dues payable to the Central Government have been paid and no proceedings are pending against the Authorised Courier under the Act, rules, or regulations.
