Inspection obligations: inspected entities must produce records, grant access to premises and permit examination of personnel and data.

Regulation 86 requires depositories, participants, beneficial owners, issuers and their agents to produce and furnish books, records, securities, accounts, documents and information to an inspecting officer within a specified reasonable period, and for every director, officer and employee to provide statements and assistance. Inspected parties must grant reasonable access to premises, facilities and computer data, provide copies of relevant materials, and permit the inspecting officer to examine or record statements of personnel during inspection or investigation.
