Repeal and savings: prior settlement notices, applications and orders are deemed accommodated under the new settlement framework.

The 2018 Regulations repeal the 2014 settlement regulations while saving and deeming prior settlement notices, pending applications, and settlement orders under the 2014 Regulations to have been filed, pending, or passed under the 2018 Regulations; committees constituted and their proposals and recommendations under the 2014 framework are deemed constituted and made under the 2018 framework, and specified pending proceedings may be subject to summary settlement or settlement procedures of the relevant Chapters mutatis mutandis.
