Service on LLP: petitions require prescribed notice and must be sent to the LLP's registered office or principal place of business.

Petitions against an LLP must be accompanied by a prescribed notice, a copy for service, and an addressed, stamped envelope for registered post or courier to the LLP's registered office or principal place of business; upon admission the Registrar must send the notice and copy by registered post or empanelled courier. Service of petitions and, unless otherwise provided or ordered, applications not presented by the LLP must be effected at the LLP's registered office or principal place of business by leaving a copy with an officer or employee, or in the manner, or to the address, directed by the Member or Registrar, or by prepaid registered post or empanelled courier.
