Issuance of a duplicate copy of a freely transferable licence/authorisation requires a self-declaration stating loss/misplacement, Customs registration status, utilisation of the licence, and that it has not been cancelled, pledged, transferred or handed over. Applicant must request cancellation of the original if duplicate issued and undertake to return the original if traced. Application must be accompanied by a fee calculated on duty saved for the unutilised balance, a copy of the FIR, and a self-declaration indemnifying the revenue.
