of <h1>Customs Rules 2017 Amendments: Concessional Duty Conditions Revised; End Use Certificates Required; Certain Exemptions Rescinded.</h1> The Customs (Import of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty) Rules, 2017 (IGCR Rules, 2017) have been prescribed for certain conditional entries in notification No. 50/2017-Customs, replacing existing conditions. Amendments to condition Nos. 22, 24, 30, 38, 51, 52, 53, 54, 60, 61, and 74 mandate IGCR observance. The jurisdictional authority under IGCR will issue end use certificates after verification. Several customs duty exemptions have been reviewed, including rescinding exemptions for machinery for solar projects, tags or labels for exports, and goods for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup, merging them into existing notifications.
