Export duty reductions proposed under Finance Bill lower tariffs on tanned leather and hides, skins and leathers. The Finance (No.2) Bill, 2019 proposes removal of export duty on EI tanned leather and a reduction of export duty on hides, skins and leathers, tanned and untanned, effecting tariff-rate adjustments for the leather sector under customs regulation.
