....The Reserve Bank of India revises rules on export and import of Indian currency between India, Nepal, and Bhutan by superseding the 2019 circular and amending the 2015 FEMA currency regulations. Persons who are not citizens of Pakistan or Bangladesh may freely take or bring Indian currency in denominations up to Rs.100 in any amount between India and Nepal/Bhutan. They may also carry Indian currency notes of denominations above Rs.100 up to a total of Rs.25,000 when travelling either from India to Nepal/Bhutan or from Nepal/Bhutan to India. Currency of Nepal and Bhutan may be freely taken out of or brought into India. These directions are issued under FEMA, 1999.....
