The laptops contained technical knowledge and software, the company's trade secrets and intellectual property; and the petitioners ought to have returned the laptops on the date of resignation, and their withholding of the property is wrongful, and hence, they are liable for the offence under Section 452 of the Act. The learned counsel further submitted that the question of whether the withholding is wrongful has to be adjudicated in the trial Court and prayed for dismissal of this petition. 5.
