Adverting to the relevant dates having a bearing on whether the balance of convenience and irreparable harm would weigh in favour of or against the grant of interim relief, the ASG submitted that the Bill which eventually resulted in the Finance Act 2021 was passed on 28 March 2021, nearly 15 months ago.
