The brief facts of the case are that the assessee is a private limited company engaged in the business of manufacturing, processing and exporting of pulverized Garnet Abrasives Grit. The assessee has filed its return of income for the assessment year 2008-09 on 07.01.2009 claiming deduction u/s.10B of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (hereinafter the 'Act') and paid taxes on book profit u/s.115JB of the Act.
