The appellants have now produced a certificate dated 23-12-1983 from Messrs Mehendra Shah & Associates, their Chartered Accountants, to the effect that the value shown in their balance sheet, namely ₹ 10,22,057 representing the value of the plant and machinery as fixed assets for the year ending 31-3-1980 higher than the limit of ₹ 10 lakhs.
